Welcome to the World of Mendelian Ragdoll Cats and Kittens!!
Mendelian Ragdoll Cattery is the result of Jeni's lifelong dream to surround herself, and her children with the melodic mews and purrs of her favorite animals, kittens! Her dream was inspired by the love and devotion she felt towards her very first cat; a very special chocolate point Siamese named Tiki.

Feeling very blessed by the time and memories she shared with Tiki, Jeni decided to share her passion for cats with other feline enthusiasts, and thus her Ragdoll cattery began. Jeni (older now) is still a Ragdoll fan! |

Jeni did a great deal of research about purebred cat breeds and the study of genetics before arriving at her chosen breed. The Ragdoll cat was the purrfect choice, combining the exotic beauty, brilliant, blue eyes and delicate coloring of the Siamese with a big, hearty and healthy body, and a gregarious, child-proof temperament. Her interest in the field of Genetics led her to name the Ragdoll cattery after it's founding Father: Gregor Johan Mendel.
